The Diversity and Potential of Avitourism in Peat Swamp Ecosystem of Ayer Hitam Utara Forest Reserve, Johor

Avitourism is a responsible tourism activity where birdwatchers perform bird-watching, which can be either hobby or dedicated practice. Ayer Hitam Utara Forest Reserve peat swamp forest, type tropical moist forest with dense layer acidic serves as habitat diverse range species. The has recorded 33 total, there are 2 Vulnerable, 3 Near-Threatened, 1 Endangered species, 20 out totally protected under Wildlife Conservation Act 2010. have given generally positive response interested visiting potentially benefit economically, socially, environmentally local people.
